The end of Plastic Waste exports: a catalyst for Europe’s circular economy. – book you place now!
Europe is at a turning point. With the upcoming ban on the export of plastic waste , the basis of the current recycling system will be fundamentally reformed. What does this mean for Europe’s recycling capacity and for the viability of a truly circular plastics value chain?
During this edition of Plastic Matters, we will bring together policymakers, recyclers, producers and knowledge institutions to take a critical look at the systemic consequences of the export ban and, in particular, at the levers that Europe has at its disposal to steer this transition in the right direction.
During an interactive session, we will test these options for their feasibility and impact.
The preliminary program is as follows:
- 12:00: Networking lunch
- 13:00: Plastic Matters with amongst others an overview of your upcoming obligations by OVAM.
- 17:00: Conclusion
A more detailed agenda will soon be published on our website.
