In October the European Forum for Industrial Biotechnology and the Bioeconomy (EFIB) will take place in Vilnius. bio.be/essenscia, the Belgian federation representing companies active in the biotech and life sciences industry, will participate in this event to promote the Belgian industrial biotechnology sector. Start-ups in industrial biotechnology are encouraged to apply for a spot in the EFIB’s Start-Up village, the central meeting point in the exhibition area, bringing together innovative young businesses with investors as well as industrial corporations. It offers a number of founders active in industrial biotechnology and the bioeconomy, visibility to the EFIB attendees and a valuable opportunity for networking and exchange.
