Exothera, a Univercells company and a leading Belgian CDMO specializing in the industrialization of vaccine and gene therapy processes, has announced an important collaboration with IDT Biologika in Germany. Together they will develop a large-scale manufacturing process for viral vector-based vaccines, based on innovative biomanufacturing technologies. Viral vaccines have been receiving special attention since the launch of COVID-19-vaccines.
