PolyCert Europe, a platform bringing together existing national certification schemes for the uptake of circular material in a comprehensive system of mutual recognition, launches its new website at www.polycerteurope.eu. The certification schemes under the PolyCert Europe umbrella are helping companies to certify recycled content in their products and to be independently audited to ensure transparencies on claims for recycled content. The new website provides more valuable information on this European plastic converters initiative for which essenscia is funding member.
“As a founding member of PolyCert Europe we are delighted with the launch of the website. The overview of the certified companies shows the commitment of the plastic converting industry to the use of circular plastics. We are happy to see several of our members as frontrunners in the certification of the recycled content in their plastic articles placed on the market”, says Olivier Van Volden, senior packaging expert at essenscia PolyMatters.
