As of 1 October 2023, importers of CBAM goods into the EU are subject to new reporting requirements regarding the carbon content of the goods, the identity and location of the installations where the goods were produced, any carbon price already paid, etc. The report for the first reporting period must be submitted no later than 31 January 2024.
