REACH concerns the whole chemical value chain, from producer to end user. The registration of raw materials by their suppliers is only one aspect. Downstream users* too have obligations under the REACH-regulation 1907/2006. For instance, producers of objects have also a communication duty conform art. 33.
Producers of objects who import chemical products from outside the European Economic Area under the REACH regulation are considered as importers and must therefore check their registration obligations. After the pre-registration period, which ended on 1st December 2008, the time has come for the SIEF's and the preparation of the registration dossiers. What is your task as a KMO which has pre-registered? Do you want to pre-register or can your use be covered by the registration of your supplier? How do you position yourself in the SIEF ? Which information do you need? Which exceptions are possible and in which cases? How do you communicate about the presence of candidate list substances in you final products? How do you guarantee your use? VLARIP can help you unravel this tangle.
Beside the accompaniment of your company through REACH, VLARIP also wants to help anchoring product safety in your organisation. Other aspects such as the new legislation about classification and labelling (CLP) are lso discussed in details.
During group meetings, your are kept informed about news in REACH and product safety, questions of participants are discussed in details as well as specific issues.
Participants receive a certificate for the mandatory training of environmental coördinators [VLAREM - Title II - articlel 4.1.9.1.2 &2.1° d)].
