Belintra is the name of a system collaborating with federal authorities through which the chemical sector provides assistance in road accidents involving the transportation of dangerous substances. Belintra can call on experts, know-how and equipment from more than 60 chemical companies offering their expertise in the field of dangerous products to emergency services, public protection agencies and police services seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Belintra is the Belgian link in a European assistance network known as ICE (International Chemical Environment) that was set up by Cefic (European Chemical Industry Council).
