Vinyl 2010 Named Vinyl 2010, the voluntary commitment of the European PVC industry is an example of moving towards a more sustainable future. Working with the European Commission, the European PVC industry established specific objectives for 2010 regarding sustainable development. This mutual commitment of PVC producers and converters concerns reducing emissions at the time of the production as well as replacing problematic additives and recycling of 200,000 more tons of PVC waste after consumption.
